Why Are We Here?

Ask any of the members of the Connecticut based trio RUSH'd how long they've dreamed of performing RUSH songs and the answer will be the same, "As long as I can remember." Unfortunately, the same challenge had prevented each of them from realizing their dreams; not everyone has the same heart felt appreciation for RUSH nor can they actually play it.

Our paths were destined to meet but not after first honing our skills in numerous bands, both cover and original. Dave Twarog (Bass/Vocals/Keys) and Pete Bauer (Guitar) played together over 15 years ago in an original band named Stone Angel. The band had a strong six year run before calling it quits in 1994. Since then Dave has played in many cover bands with the most well known being "The Drunken Bozos" out of Bridgeport. Pete has played in other acts since then as well and is also part of a Black Sabbath Tribute band. Scott Andrews (Drums) has played in many other bands as well, the most well known being Payback.

Scott met Dave through a mutual friend and began the band together. At their first meeting, they ripped through a dozen or so RUSH tunes like they had played them together for years! Finally, the elusive chemistry to recreate the magic of RUSH music became a reality! Pete joined up in January of 2006 and the line up was finally complete.
